Part entertainment magazine and part artist advocate, AWLH is dedicated to helping first Alabama and then the world get acquainted and fall in love with Alabama’s local rappers and hip-hop scene through interesting news, interviews, stories and specials, and by providing quality, objective, and professional tabloid-free journalism that will stimulate the minds of all 3 of our target users:  fans/general public, artists and industry professionals.

 

We want the fans and the general public to become more aware and more supportive of the tremendous amount of talent available just outside their front doors.  We also hope to be a valuable tool for talent recruiters by giving them access to artists’ bio’s, contact info and music as well as to the artists themselves. Successful execution of these two functions will allow us to achieve our ultimate goal: to help artists build a fan base and generate industry interest in the artists. By doing this we will in essence become an advocate for local artists, helping them to get noticed, get signed and get paid!
