  • And many more!

HOW TO GET YOUR COMPANY'S ADS ONTO OUR SITE

First, contact us to place your order.

After the order has been placed, we will send an advertisement agreement and invoice via fax, email or mail.

Please review the order, and if all is okay, sign and return the order with payment.

Full payment is due at the time the advertisement agreement is signed.  Your ad will not be posted until full payment has been received.

Submit your advertisement according to our technical specifications. Unfortunately, at this point, we are unable to create advertisements for you.

ADVERTISER PROFILES AND THE "SPONSORS PAGE"

Every non-affiliate advertiser who has a current ad on the site will have their profile listed on the “Sponsors” page that includes some or all of the information listed below.  The advertiser will be asked to provide most of this information at the time of sign-up.

  • Owner/Manager
  • Address/Map
  • Contact Info
  • About/Bio (brief description and/or history of the company)
  • Advertiser’s Website and/or MySpace Link
  • Multimedia (audio files; video files; photo files)
  • 1 (one) Button Logo

Anytime the advertiser is not running a campaign, the profile will become inactive.  Once you run a new campaign, the profile becomes active again.

The information included in the advertiser profiles must be kept up to date at all times.  Continual failure to keep your profile up to date may result in your profile being removed from the site.

On the “Sponsors” page, it is not possible to ensure that you will not be listed at the same time as one of your competitors.

The height of your button logo should be between 31 and 125 pixels tall.  The width should be between 88 and 125 pixels wide.

Standard button sizes are 88 x 31, 120 x 60, 120 x 90 and 125 x 125.  However, we will accept any size as long as it is no smaller than 88 x 31 and no larger than 125 x 125. The smaller it is, the closer to the top of the page it will appear.

If your button logo is larger than 125 x 125, you will be charged for a custom ad.  Logo's smaller than 88 x 31 will not be accepted at all.

Your button logo should contain your logo only, not an advertisement.  If your button contains an ad, you will be charged for a custom ad.

For aesthetic reasons, similar sized logo's are grouped together.  The smaller your logo, the closer to the top of the page it will be placed closer to the top of the page.  All pre-paid (non-affiliate) advertisers will be listed above affiliate advertisers.

SUBMITTING ADS

What Types of Advertisements Can be Posted?

You may post just about any variety of ad that you can think of as long as it complies with our technical specifications.

File Submission Guidelines

Every ad will be reviewed before it is added to the site.

While the vast majority of ads will be accepted with no questions, we reserve the right to refuse to sell ad-space to you for any reason or for no reason and without notice or explanation.

Below are a few examples of situations in which we might refuse to sell ad-space to you.

  • Bad quality: blurry images, bad sound, bad video
  • Outdated ads
  • Failure or refusal to comply with a Censorship Requirement
  • Incompatible file formats

Any time changes are required or requested, we will let you know before a purchase agreement has been signed and before you have been charged.

Quality

Please make sure that all ads have good image, video and audio quality.

Dated Ads

All the information in your ad must be current. No past dates or outdated information will be accepted.

We will not accept dated ads with expiration or promotion end dates that have already passed at the time of the sale.

If you have a dated advertisement, with an expiration or promo-end date in the future, we will only sell you enough ad-time to get you to the promo-end date. For instance, if the start-date for your ad is November 1st and your ad is for a sale that ends December 15th, we will only sell you 45 days worth of ad-time. At the end of the 45 days, your ad will be removed.

Exception: Album release dates. If you run an ad that includes a release date for an album(s), we will run that ad for up to 30 days after the release date has passed or changed. During this time, you may submit, free of charge, a revised version of the ad that does not include the release date. For instance, if the original ad includes the phrase, “In Stores December 1st!” or “Coming Soon!” you could simply change the phrase to read, “In Stores Now!” and leave the rest of the ad as-is.

TIP: Remember to keep your changes to a minimum. Significant or material changes may cause us to interpret your ad as a new ad for which we will have to charge you again. This determination will be made at our discretion. Of course, we will always let you know in advance whether your ad qualifies for free resubmission or if we consider it to be a new ad that must be paid for. In fact, it might be a good idea to have your revised version ready at the time you purchase ad-space for the original ad. That way, we can let you know which category your revised ad will fall into.

Censorship

There may be times that we will request or require editing of ad content that we deem too strong, objectionable or offensive to be placed on our site.

  • Censorship Requests are voluntary. Failure or refusal to comply with a Censorship Request is not likely to result in the refusal to sell ad-space to you.
  • Censorship Requirements are mandatory. Failure or refusal to comply with a Censorship Requirement may result in the refusal to sell ad-space to you.
