ANTWON DEMARKUS JAMELL WARREN OWENS BIOGRAPHY Born Antwon D. Owens on 09-16-1989 in Tuscumbia, Alabama; Tweezy grew up with his mother, and sister. Being the oldest of 3 children Tweezy often found himself being very protective of his younger siblings and often found himself stepping up to the plate to provide help and care for them when needed; Therefore, requiring him to be a good role model and mentor to each of them...

Antwon did not come from a wealthy background; nevertheless, his mother often expressed the importance of education, good moral character and the importance of pursuing his dreams. Tweezy was raised in the apartments of Muscle Shoals and at the age of 10 it was noticed that Antwon was blessed with the talent to draw self portraits as well as abstract pictures. However, at age of 13 he discovered that his true passion was in the art of music...

Tweezy graduated in the spring of 2008 from Decatur High School and plans to enroll in the fall at Calhoun Community College at Decatur and majored in Architectural and Art Design and minored in Music. On the weekends Tweezy and his family would spend time together cooking out and listening to music. His mother, uncles and aunts would play music from what is now considered "back in the day" type music. After being exposed to various styles and genres of music Tweezy developed a love for what is now called "old school music"

This being the case his style of music has been influenced by some of the great music icons like the great Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and the late great Marvin Gaye. He has also been heavily influenced by Bone Thugs-N- Harmony, Outkast, Michael Jackson and the late Tupac. "New School" also interests Tweezy some such as Soulja Boy,50 Cent,Lil Wayne, The Game , Plies And many more...

Whenever, Tweezy writes music he incorporates his life experiences and environment, as well as various other influences he encounters throughout his life in general. Tweezy is also an observer and he incorporates distinct observation into his music style as an added bonus for his fans...
